685,347. Photographic flashlight lamps. SARABER, P. Jan. 26, 1951 [May 2, 1950], No. 2019/51. Class 9(ii) [Also in Group XI] A flashlight lamp having a barrel 1 with a holder 2 for a bulb 3 and a base 4 is provided with a casing 6 and a reflector 8. One or more dry batteries 5 may be held in the barrel. Between the barrel and the casing is an' annular air gap 7 into which the reflector is withdrawn by pushing a button 9 along a guide slot 10 in the casing. The reflector 8 is a thin foil such as sheet steel or sheet bronze, the upper part 13 of the casing and the lower part 11 of the reflector being- shaped to cause the reflector to fold round the barrel 1 as it is withdrawn. A slot 14 is provided in the base 4 for attachment to a holder.
