Abstract

684,845. Wall shuttering supports; shores. MASSEY, W. B. Jan. 19, 1951 [Oct. 19, 1949]. No. 26842/49. Class 20 (ii). Wall shuttering is raised step by step on the main shuttering support posts 2 by means of an externally threaded sleeve 1 which is anchored to the post 2 by a pin 5 passing through holes in the two parts and on which is screwed a nut 6 adapted to raise by means of an external sleeve 10 and plate 9 a joist 8 carrying the wall shuttering. A pin 13 passed through holes in the sleeve 10 and the post 2 secures the sleeve and the shuttering in a new position when the sleeve 1 can be raised to a higher 6 has been slackened back, and secured there by the pin 5. The apparatus may be used as a raking shore by threading the top of the sleev 10 to take a suitable fitting for this purpose.
