Abstract

684,420. Ladders. FILDES, C. G. March 7, 1951 [March 8, 1950]. No. 5816/50. Class 20 (ii). A ladder is secured to a ridge roof by a device having two parts 2, 12, angularly inclined and resting on the roof at both sides of the ridge, and angularly adjustable by means of a strut 21. The ladder is clamped between hooks 4 and an adjustable hook 7 on the part 2. The strut 21 is connected at one end to a cross-piece 3 on an extension of the part 2 and at the other end to a cross-piece 16 longitudinally adjustable on the part 12 to adjust the device for the angle of the roof.
