671,791. Warning devices for vehicle brakes. HIGGINS, W. H. May 31, 1950 [June 14, 1949], No. 13562/50. Class 103 (i). An electrically-actuated warning system installed in an automotive vehicle and connected in an electrical circuit to a source of electrical energy comprises, in combination, a switch 1 connected to the vehicle hand brake 2 in such manner that it is actuated to complete the electric circuit 5 through the switch when the brake is moved to the " on " position, a second switch 3 connected to the vehicle clutch pedal 4 in such manner that it is actuated to complete the electric circuit through the switch when the clutch is moved to the release position and an audible or visual warning device 6 which operates when the clutch pedal 4 is depressed with the hand brake 2 in the " on " position.
