667,721. Rotary meters. COMPAGNIE POUR LA FABRICATION DES COMPTEURS ET MATERIEL D'USINES A GAZ March 21, 1950, [July 7, 1949] No. 7044/50. Class 110(ii). A rotary meter for liquids has a piston moulded of cellular material 6 covered wholly, or in part by non-cellular moulded material 5, the specific gravity of the piston being substantially the same as that of the liquid being metered. Only the rubbing surfaces need be covered with non-cellular material which may be of ebonite or other plastic material. The cellular material may be the same but rendered porous by known methods, the pores containing air, carbonic acid, other liquids or gels.
