Abstract

In a suspension file in which the folders are suspended by rods adapted to rest near their ends on rails or like guides, each rod 12 has hinged to one end at 14, a cover channel 13 for clipping the folders 10 to the rod, each channel having downwardly facing flanges which are slotted at 15 near their ends to form arches over the rails and which slots restrict endwise movement of the rods in relation to the rails. As shown in Fig. 2, the upper ends of a pair of adjoining folders 10 are secured by staples 11 in overlapping relation to form a loop for the rod 12. In a modification, one folder only is stapled to form the loop and the other folder edge is hooked over and held in position by the channel 13. As shown in Fig. 6, each folder 200 has its top edges formed with complementary looped portions 19 which fit into cutaway portions 20 of the next folder supported by the same rod
