Abstract

660,932. Indicating-apparatus. CARR FASTENER CO., Ltd. Feb. 16, 1950 [May 4, 1949], No. 11967/49. Class 106 (iv). A pointer 1 is secured between a cap 3 and disc 4 fastened together, the disc 4 having a resilient socket portion for gripping an actuating spindle. The cap 3 and disc 4 may be fastened together by turning over the flange 3a or the disc 4 may be sprung into a preformed flange 3a. The pointer 1 extends outwards through slots 3b in the cap and is prevented from axial movement by an offset portion 2 closely fitting in the cap. Four fingers 4 may be used and their ends are preferably flared.
