Abstract

946,133. Stoppers. UNITED-CARR FASTENER CORPORATION. April 7, 1961 [April 7, 1960], No. 12666/61. Heading B8T. [Also in Divisions E2 and F2] A resilient plug comprises a base 12, flange 14, and a tubular portion 16 adapted at 24 for outward reverse folding as seen in Fig. 9. Sealing is effected at the outer edge of the flange 14 and locking is achieved by the small flange 30 (Fig. 9). The solid cap portion 12 may be tubular, thereby forming a grommet.
