Abstract

658,824. Agricultural implements. HERRING, J. May 19, 1949, No. 13338. [Class 6(i)] A harrow is composed of intersecting members a, b, at least some of which are of zig-zag form, and the members are held together at their points of intersection by flat teeth c which have reduced portions f passing through aligned holes h in the intersecting members, the reduced portions having transverse holes k therein, through which pass cotters i to secure both the teeth and the members a, b in position. The cotters comprise members, U-shaped in plan and. wedge-shaped in side elevation, which can be hammered into the form shown in Fig. 4 to retain the parts fixed. The teeth may be stamped from steel sheet, and may either be straight, as shown, or curved forwardly.
