[Class 114] A hydroplane craft is propelled by an aircooled engine, the cylinder 11 of which is mounted so as to be directly in the air-stream flowing past the hull. The propeller shaft 16 is disposed below and parallel to the engine output shaft and is connected to it by chain or pinion gearing.
