656,932. Vehicle seats. BRIGGS MANUFACTURING CO. Dec. 23, 1948, No. 33201. [Class 103(ii)] A vehicle'body which may be of the station wagon'type has a luggage compartment having a floor 10, and a seat unit C hinged at 16 to the body together with a seat back D hinged at 28. To extend the luggage compartment the seat unit C is hinged upwardly and the back D hinged downwardly, the locating pin 24 engaging the nose 30a of the keeper member 30, the detent 24 maintaining the parts in position.
