655,481. Loom pickers. HOLT, E. April 26, 1948, No. 11347. [Class 142(iii)] A picker A for a loom for weaving made from laminated plastic or like material has a renewable portion B to contact a shuttle tip inserted in a pocket C, said portion B being formed of coiled rawhide. A securing pin E is driven through a hole formed in the picker and rawhide, a cushioning disc D of felt or other soft material is located behind the rawhide, and a hole F is formed in the picker in order that the rawhide may be driven out for replacement. The picker can be impregnated with oil during manufacture. The invention may be applied to underpick or overpick looms,
