Abstract

652,962. Automatic firearms. ZBROJOVKA BRNO, NARODNI PODNIK. Sept. 22, 1948, No. 24848. Convention date, Sept. 26, 1947. [Class 92 (ii)] Relates to automatic firearms of the kind in which the gas piston 2 is resiliently loaded by a spring 7 which is guided by a rod 8. According to the invention the rod 8 serves, as by providing it with a head 11, to guide also the breech block carrier 1, and the arrangement is such that removal of rod 8 permits the removal of the carrier. The head 11 shown is of inverted T-section and guides two laterally spaced bars of the carrier; in a modification it is shaped to guide a carrier having a single bar.
