[Class 144 (i)] To prevent undue side-thrust loads on rubber cushions 8 fitted in compression between the centre-portion of the wheel disc 2 and relatively fixed and removable hub-flanges 4, 5, abutment stops such as 9, Fig. 1, or 11, 12, Fig. 2, are provided on the hub-flanges or the wheelcentre. As shown in Fig. 2, the cushions may be formed with bevelled edges.
