Abstract

652,107. Saw-tooth generating circuits. ELECTRIC & MUSICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Jan. 30, 1948, No. 2793. [Class 40 (vi)] A saw-tooth current generating circuit has a negative feedback circuit from the secondary of the output transformer to the cathode of the valve feeding the primary of the transformer, the feedback circuit including a rectifier which absorbs excess voltages in the secondary circuit and which is non-conducting during the flyback. The feedback may thus be rendered ineffective during the flyback period and the flyback time thereby reduced. A differentiating circuit 12, 13 may be provided so that substantial feedback occurs only when the output current rises unduly rapidly. Specification 633,366 is referred to.
