651,454. Pads etc.; squeegees. ADAMS, G. S. Oct. 28, 1946, Nos. 31908 and 31909. Convention dates, Dec. 15, 1945 and April, 8, 1946. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, April 30, 1947]. [ Class 19] A cleaning pad or squeegee consists of a number of flat paper &c. sheets placed face to face and glued, e.g. by a soluble glue over the major part of their contacting faces to form a substantially rigid pad 110 adapted to be clamped in a holder (see Specification 651,508), at a zone spaced from the cleaning edge of the pad. Each sheet is preferably formed with incisions 114 and a recess 116 which permits its retention in the holder. In a modification, the pad is composed of at least one sheet 210 of corrugated paper or cardboard and at least two sheets of paper &c. The pad is cut from sheets of corrugated cardboard having the required number of layers, the side 226 of one pad being cut at the same time as the recess 224 of the second pad.
