Abstract

An insecticidal aqueous solution for timber preservation comprises sodium pentachlorophenate, preferably from 1 to 5 per cent sodium hexametaphosphate, preferably 0.25 per cent and a sodium higher alkyl sulphate or sulphonated naphthalene derivatine containing a di-isobutyl group, added as a surface depressant.
