[Class 16] A book printed with letterpress, diagrams, pictures, designs and the like comprises a number of sheets of synthetic plastic material welded together e.g. at the marginal portions of one of their edges by high frequency electric field welding either in the form of a continuous seam or of a series of spot welds. The plastic material may be of polyvinyl plastic and the sheets may be all of the same thickness and size or the covers may be thicker or stiffer and of a larger size or of a different nature.
