Abstract

646,615. Clothes pegs. DIXON, A. H. Aug. 25, 1948, No. 22439. [Class 44] In a moulded rubber clothes peg comprising a handle portion 1 and a pair of legs 2, the split between the legs being terminated by a round hole 3, a square clothes receiving hole 4 is formed half in one leg and half in the other below the hole 3. A flat metal spring 5 may be inserted in the peg during manufacture or may be bonded on to to the outside to urge the legs together. According to the Provisional Specification the hole 4 may be of other shape than square.
