643,965. Furniture joints. MARTINET, P., and MARTINET, J. April 17, 1945, No. 9535. Convention date, Oct. 31, 1944. [Class 52 (ii)] [Also in Group X] Prefabricated one - piece furniture panels (see Group X), have peripheral borders 2 the outer sides of which are formed of two bevelled faces each at 45 degrees to the plane of the corresponding panel, so that panels may be joined at right angles, e.g. as shown in Fig. 18, the extreme outer edge of the borders 2 being cut away thus leaving a space which is filled by a bead 8. This space may, alternatively, receive a hinge 12, Fig. 19, for a movable door panel 1d.
