Abstract
642,465. Radiolocation. KODAK, Ltd. Sept. 12, 1946, No. 27480. Convention date, June 19, 1945. [Class 40 (vii)] [Also in Group XX] Display radar apparatus comprises means for photographing on a 16 mm. film F the indications of the cathode-ray tube S of a radar set, including an objective 16, means for processing, i.e. developing and, if desired, fixing the film in situ and intermittently moving the film to a projection gate 67 where the image is illuminated as illustrated in Fig. 8 (not shown) by a lamp 61 through a condenser 63 and reflecting prism 65, and is projected by a lens 68 and a reflecting prism 70 on to a screen (not shown). The film processing fluids are contained in reservoirs 33, 33<SP>1</SP> which are closed by needle valves operable by solenoids 40, 40<SP>1</SP> to allow developer or fixer respectively to pour into the processing cup 20 which makes liquid-tight contact with the film when this is stationary, a vacuum line 29 being connected to a port in said cup. The sequence of operations is controlled automatically by cam-closed switches operating solenoids.
