[Class 78 (i)] [Also in Groups XV and XXXVII] Tennis balls are covered on a rotary conveyer comprising a frame 10 supporting a rotatable spider 15 driven by a motor 17 and carrying six platens E pivoted thereto which are guided around the machine by rollers 27 engaging a cam-rail 28. Justifying means are provided to stop the platens in seven different positions S<1> ... S' in which the various covering operations are effected. At position S<6>, an automatic device discharges the completed ball.
