Abstract
636,278. Tubular heat-exchange elements. BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS CO., Ltd.. and DAVIES, D. J. Oct. 31, 1947, No. 29070. [Class 64(iii)] [Also in Group XXII] Finned heat-exchange elements are made by casting with preformed fins cast in its wall. The fins 4 and the spaces between them may be 0.02 inch thick. Fluid may flow through all the passages P in the same direction or one end of the body 1 may be closed, as at 9, Fig. 8, and an inclined baffle 10 be provided to assist circulation.
