634,650. Travelling grates. ANSALDO SOC. ANON. Sept. 18, 1946, No. 28046. Convention date, June 23, 1944. [Class 51 (i)] A travelling grate in which spring controlled confining plates are pressed against the sides of the grate has the confining plate 1 extended above the level of the grate and so shaped that it seats on the lugs 6 of the support 2 thus effectually sealing the sides of the grate against the fall of ash or burning particles.
