633,853. Loading and unloading refuse vehicles. LEWIN ROAD SWEEPERS, Ltd., and DEAR, A. T. C. Jan. 8, 1947, No. 660. [Class 78 (iv)] The subject-matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that described in Specification 633,851.- It differs in that the conveyer extending from the loading opening 13 to the impeller 22 is replaced by a deflector member 43, and that the container may be reversed on the vehicle chassis so that the opening 13 is disposed at the rear end of the vehicle and the discharge opening at the front end. To facilitate discharge the latter opening is disposed at one side of the front end with the driver's compartment at the opposite side. Specification 633,852 also is referred to.
