Abstract
A silver solder alloy has the following composition:-Ag 49-56 per cent, Cu 20-22 per cent, Zn 16-22 per cent, Sn 1-7 per cent. Those alloys which contain 1-5 per cent Sn may also contain 1-7 per cent Cd, in which case the Ag content may be as low as 48 per cent. Up to 2 per cent each of Mn and P may also be present.
