Abstract
A fishing-rod is formed of two parts, a butt and a tip formed of solid metal, preferably an aluminium alloy, the whole when assembled being tapered from end to end. The tip piece has four guide rings, and when assembled its lower end fits within a sleeve at the top of the butt piece. The butt piece is fitted with a cork handle having a plastic end knob, and is provided with a folding guide ring. Dimensions of the rod are given.
