628,219. Photographic studio arrangements. MITCHELL, J., and MIRRAPHOTO DEVELOPMENTS, Ltd. Sept. 23, 1947, No. 25799. [Class 98 (ii)] A non-planar parallel-faced transparent or semi-transparent mirror is placed between the camera and the sitter, whereby the latter sees a distorted reflection of himself in the mirror but the camera takes an undistorted picture through the mirror. To obviate any image defects caused by the mirror the latter may be plane over the portion covered by the acceptance angle of the camera or a plate of suitably graded opacity may be placed between mirror and camera ; the latter may be operated by the sitter. Specification 532,455 is referred to.
