[Class 53] [Also in Group XVIII] In a liquid level indicator for an electric storage battery &c. 1 comprising one or more solid or hollow glass &c. bodies 3, 4 which depend through the lid 2 of the battery and are provided at their lower ends with conical &c. reflecting surfaces 5, the upper end of each body is also formed with a reflecting surface 7 having, if desired, a flat viewing surface 8. The bodies are preferably of circular cross-section with square upper ends, and they may be secured together or, alternatively, formed integrally from a single piece of glass. U.S.A. Specification 1,883,971 is referred to.
