Abstract

809,368. Fishing floats. MORRIS, G., [trading as G.M. ANGLING PRODUCTS]. Jan. 8, 1957 [Feb. 16, 1956], No. 4874/56. Class 48. An angling float comprises a lower member 10 having an eye 16 to receive a line 17, a detachable upper member 12 and a float cap 24 for securing the line to the upper member 12, the two members enclosing an air chamber and being connected by a spigot and socket joint, the spigot 18 being formed by a reduced diameter portion at the open end of one of the members. The spigot 18 fits tightly into the open end of the lower member 10 and has a ridge 20 gripped in a groove in the lower member. The members are made of resilient plastic and the upper member may be coloured.
