Abstract
625,977. Automatic tuning correction. WILLIAMS, R. STUART-, SHAND, G., and METROPOLITAN-VICKERS ELECTRICAL CO., Ltd. July 9, 1946, Nos. 20503/46 and 265/47. [Class 40 (v)] A superheterodyne receiver for pulse signals includes a sweep oscillator for tuning it continuously over a frequency band and also means for applying a rectified signal output of amplitude proportional to the input signal frequency to the sweep oscillator, in such a manner as to produce a control voltage holding the local oscillator frequency at the optimum value for reception.
