625,599. Gaseous fuel mixtures. WHITE, S. H. April 24, 1947, No. 11039. [Class 55 (ii)] A gaseous fuel mixture for use with oxygen in cutting and welding metals &c. is prepared by mixing with coal gas petroleum ether, in the proportion of 5-10 lb. of the latter for every 1000 cubic feet of coal gas, the petroleum ether raising the calorific value and lowering the ignition point of the coal gas.
