Rubber compositions containing expanding or inflating agents and which are expanded or inflated by heat from infra red lamps contain latex, reclaimed rubber or synthetic rubber, plasticizers, accelerators, vulcanizing agents such as sulphur; antioxidants such as lithophone, zinc oxide, red lead; fillers such as Devolite china clay, Karaya gum; comminuted fibres such as wool and hair and inflating agents such as ammonium carbonate, urea, water.
