623,475. Perambulator suspensions. TWIGGS (NORTHERN), Ltd., and BATEMAN, A. E. April 30, 1947, No. 11632. [Class 108 (ii)] A resilient connection in the suspension of perambulators and the like comprises a block of rubber a, the opposite faces of which are bonded to a chassis member b carried by the wheel axle and a member c carried by the body portion, the other faces of the block which extend between the members band c being bare. The connection may be masked by a chromium-plated slip-on cover j. Fig. 5 shows an alternative arrangement for a push-chair, the rubber block a being bonded to a bracket k secured to the axle e and to a member n secured to the usual seat-supporting tube s.
