[Class 83 (iii)] A cutter for milling threads or grooves is formed with two sets of teeth A, B, spaced alternately around it, the serrations a, b on the teeth agreeing in pitch with the thread or grooves to be cut, and each serration being eased off up to but not including the crest thereof, the easing off on the serrations a being on the flank a<SP>3</SP> and on the serrations b on the flank b<SP>3</SP>.
