620,881. Animal traps. ALLCOCK PRODUCTS, Ltd., and BILLING, G. Jan. 29, 1947, No. 2712. [Class 5(i)] In a trap of the break-back type, pivots 3, 4 of break-back 5 are engaged in lugs 6, 7, the aperture 8 in lug 7 being elongated. The bait platform 13 having bait retaining spikes 16 is pivoted by engagement of lugs in the base of the trap and has a rearwardly extending arm 15, which receives the pivot 4 so that depression of the platform moves the break-back 5 forwards in the aperture 8 and releases it from the fixed detent 9.
