620,462. Aircraft framework HEENAN, J. N. D. Jan. 20, 1947 No. 1753. [Class 4] An aeroplane fuselage of the kinc which is built up from two or more separate longitudinal sections adapted to be secured together in endwise relationship to form a complete fuselage is characterisec in that the opposed joint-forming edges of the sections 4, 4a are re leasably held together by an interna locking ring 2 which is expandec by hand levers 8 to lock the twc sections together. The ring 2 may have a wedging engagement with the flanges 4, 4a.
