Abstract

619,294. Agricultural implements. BRANDON, H. J., and TILDESLEY, R. Nov. 30, 1946, No. 35553. [Class 6 (i)] A multi-furrow plough may be converted into a plough for cuttmg one less furrow by removing two adjacent plough bodies and replacing them by a single body carried in a position intermediate between the previous positions of the bodies removed. A three-furrow plough comprises a wheeled frame 12 carrying plough bodies arranged in echelon at 13, 14 and 15. Two bodies 14 and 15 may be removed and replaced by the framework shown in Fig. 4 in which the U-shaped member 37 is secured to the frame in place of the body 15 and the bent-over end 35 of the limb 32 replaces the body 14. The limb 32 is provided with fixing holes to receive one of the removed plough bodies.
