Abstract

615,270. Powder and like distributers. LAMBERT, W. O. H. July 17, 1946, No. 21429. [Class 18] A hand distributer for lawn sand, fertilisers, and the like comprising a container 5 with a hand grip at one end and a detachable nozzle 6 at the other, has three baffles 10 sloping alternately in opposite directions to allow limited quantities of sand to flow from the nozzle when the distributer is swung from the position shown in Fig. 2 to that shown in Fig. 3. The baffles are shown embodied in a tubular member 7 held within the container by the nozzle 6 which is secured by a pin and slot connection 13 and is provided with a pair of feet 9. The distributer may have an additional pointed member for hole-forming or weed-cutting purposes.
