Abstract

613,004. Two-part couplings. FABBRICA ITALIANA MAGNETI MARELLI. Jan. 8, 1942, No. 320. Convention date, Sept. 30, 1939. [Class 38 (i)] [Also in Group XL (c)] The sections of a tubular wireless aerial are plugged together by means of couplings consisting of metallic sleeves 30 of polygonal prism shape which are held in the expanded portions of the lower ends of the sections between a collar 31 and a lip 10a. These spring over the top of the sections below and form rigid and electrically conductive couplings. The hollow aerial also contains shafts such as 33 and 26 with jaw and pin couplings for the mechanical control of a tuning device.
