[Class 6 (iii)] [Also in Group XXX] A rotary elevator, having sets of radial arms 2 arranged along the length of its shaft 1, rotates about this axis between two sets of slats 3, 4 so that root crops fed from a cleaning drum 9 are swept round and discharged by the hopper 6. The elevator member may be driven by the same motor as the drum and be formed on the same shaft.
