612,029. Chocolate &c. slabs. KUNZLE, C. May 15, 1946, No. 14730. [Class 28(i)] [Also in Group V] A chocolate &c slab, bar &c. is formed with notches b which leave a minimum break-off thickness of chocolate, except at the edges of the slab where the notch is less deep to give a greater thickness f of chocolate to strengthen it against accidental breakage. The shape of the notches b and of the end parts f may be varied. Fig. 8 shows a plan of another mould in which the notches d are interrupted by intermediate strengthening ridges. In Fig. 12 the slabs are formed with swellings g in the transverse notches, this slab having a single longitudinal notch, c.
