610,895. Saucepan &c., handles. STENNING, R. H. April 17, 1946. No. 11921. [Class 66] The handle of a saucepan, &c., comprises a tang 11 surrounded by a one-piece sheath 13 o f thermal - insulating material, e.g. a thermosetting synthetic resin, closed at its outer end, leaving a tubiform air space 14 between the tang and sheath. The sheath may be tapered internally and may engage both an enlarged part 12 of the tang adjacent the utensil and the outer end of the tang where a tubular securing rivet 16 may also be used. Part 12 may be grooved longitudinally as shown at 18 to provide air ducts.
