607,041. Heel protectors. KROGSTAD, G. LEGANGER-. Jan. 23, 1946, No. 2284. Convention date, Dec. 21, 1944. [Class 17 (iii) ] A heel protector is pressed in one piece to provide a central recess 2 to receive a pad 8 of leather or other material and an upstanding peripheral flange 3 which embraces tightly the lower end of the heel 5. Holes are provided for nails or screws for attaching the protector to the tread face of the heel and to hold the pad in position.
