[Class 52(ii)] [Also in Group X] A means for the construction of exhibition stands, show cases, &c., comprises in combination main pillar members a, supplementary pillar members b which fit into the main members, and resilient metal strips f for securing together these members and panels c placed between them, the main members having slots e through which the strips are inserted, and the strips being shaped so that they can hold the panels preparatory to the supplementary members being placed in position. The members b have pieces d pressed out at intervals to form supports for cross bars and the members a may have flanges g at one or both ends for securing to the floor or ceiling, or may be connected at the top by cross members h fitting into attached bracket pieces i, and the members h may support roof members. Various forms of clips f, and the connection of a transverse partition j are also shown. The members a are first erected, and the clips f inserted laterally, then the panels c are placed in position, and finally the members b.
