[Class 4] A tailless aircraft is of V-shaped plan-form, with forwardly directed apex, the wings terminating in stabilizing surfaces 6, 7 movable in the same or opposite directions about transverse axes X-X, Y-Y, vertical fins 13, preferably carrying rudders 14, being mounted at the connecting zones between the wings and stabilizing surfaces. The surfaces 6, 7 may be operated in conjunction with high-lift flaps 10, 11 to counteract movement of the centre of pressure and may carry flaps 9 functioning as elevons.
