[Class 106(v)] The apparatus described in the parent Specification is modified by connecting the vent of the measuring chambers or of each such chamber, to the space above the level d of the liquid in the receptacle c. It is particularly desirable, when dispensing beer, to minimise the admission of fresh air to the measuring chamber, or chambers, and by connecting the vent and the receptacle 23 by the pipe b, only gases derived from the beer itself are admitted to the measuring chamber. The vent is controlled by a valve (not shown).
