604,537. Saddles for cycles and like road vehicles. NORTON, T. Nov. 26, 1945, No. 31857. [Class 136 (iii)] A saddle for cycles or like road vehicles comprises separate layers of plywood 1, 2, 3, or similar material such as steel or other suitable metal, suitably secured together and an upper and outer layer 9 of sponge or like rubber. Two holes 10 are provided in the plywood at the broadest part which are filled with resilient material to sit on. The under layer 1 is provided with a metal clip 4 by means of which the saddle may be secured to the saddle pin 5, the clip being formed integrally with a plate 6 secured to the layer 1 by a second plate 7 and bolts 8.
