[Class 52(ii)] A rack of knock-down and extensible character comprises tubular metal members a and metal corner components b which include, in appropriate positions, screw threaded sockets c into which screw threaded ends of the members a are screwed, sufficient sockets c being provided, and so placed, that additional members a to form parts of a further rack unit or units may be screwed thereto. As shown the components b are hollow but may be solid and may be provided with flanges for securement to the floor, ceiling, wall, &c. Shelves and a cover for the top may be provided.
