Classes 52(i) and 52(ii) In an extensible shelving system tubular uprights A are coupled by spigots B with flanges 9 slotted to receive the flanged edges of shelves C, each flange 9 being capable of supporting up to four coplanar shelves. Modified spigot fittings are provided for the upper and lower ends of the assembled uprights and the walls D and shelves C are slotted to enable intermediate shelves or partitions G to be fitted. An angle-iron framework with drawer-runners may be inserted in each or any compartment if drawers are to be used.
